Swapped out the stock foam for the included XPE layer and the bottom-out sound is now much cleaner and less plasticky. The difference is subtle but noticeable—definitely worth the cost if you're tweaking your build.
The Poron foam really dampened the hollow ping from my keyboard case, and the included keycap puller was a nice bonus. This upgrade was straightforward to install and noticeably improved the typing sound.
