The foam pieces fit snugly without any extra cutting, and the case now feels much more solid. The typing sound is deeper and more satisfying, exactly what I was hoping for.
Installed this kit and the typing sound went from hollow to a satisfying thock, especially with the included case foam. The plate foam pieces fit perfectly around the switches without any trimming needed.
The foam and plate kit completely transformed the sound of my board—the case ping I was dealing with is totally gone now. Installation was straightforward, and the bottom acoustics feel much more solid and premium.
My Q1 Max had a slight hollowness to the sound, but this kit completely fixed that with its dense foam layers. The stabilizer pads included made the spacebar feel much more solid and less rattly.
