Keychron x NINEGO co-branded cherry profile dye-sub PBT keycap set
The texture is a huge step up from my old ABS set—the PBT feels much more durable and the dye-sub legends are crisp. I was worried about compatibility, but all 140 keys fit perfectly on my ANSI board without any weird gaps. Definitely worth the upgrade for the improved feel and longevity.
Finally got these on my board and the texture is noticeably smoother than the stock ABS caps I had before — typing feels way more consistent. The color saturation on the alphas is also deeper than I expected from dye-sub PBT.
The dye-sub printing is crisp and the PBT texture feels more premium than the ABS caps I was using before. It took me a while to get used to the taller Cherry profile, but now I really appreciate the deeper sound and solid feel when typing. My only slight gripe is the spacebar came with a tiny bit of warp, but it sits fine on the switch.
The color gradient on these keycaps is so smooth, it makes my desk setup look way more expensive than it actually is. I've been typing all afternoon and the PBT texture feels nice and dry under my fingers, not slick at all. The dye-sub legends are crisp even on the smaller keys, which was a pleasant surprise for the price.
I was worried the cherry profile would feel too low, but the texture is smooth and the legends are crisp—my typing speed actually improved. The spacebar set alone saved me from buying a separate kit.
Swapped the caps onto my board last night and the texture is noticeably smoother than standard ABS, feels great under my fingers. The sculpted profile also makes touch-typing more comfortable during long sessions, and the 140-key coverage means I had spares for my odd layouts.
These cherry profile caps have a satisfyingly deep sound when typing, and I love that the dye-sub legends are crisp and won't fade over time. The included compatibility for my layout was spot-on, so no missing keys.
The PBT texture feels noticeably higher quality than the stock ABS caps on my board, with a nice matte finish that doesn't get slippery. Colors are vibrant and the 140-key set covered my TKL layout with plenty of extras. Only wish they included a few more novelty options for the spacebar row.
The dye-sub legends are crisp and perfectly aligned, and the cherry profile feels lower and more precise than OEM caps I’ve used before. The set covered my 75% board with plenty of extras left over.
The dye-sub legends are crisp and the PBT texture feels great under my fingers, a nice upgrade from the stock ABS set I was using. It took a bit to get used to the cherry profile, but now I appreciate the deeper sound they produce.
