I was skeptical, but swapping the foam and plate made the whole typing feel much more solid and less hollow. The included gaskets transformed the flex without making it too soft.

The space bar sounds much deeper and more solid after installing this kit, and the case foam really cut down on the pinging noise. Definitely glad I grabbed this upgrade.

Installed this kit in about 20 minutes and the sound difference is night and day—the case foam kills that hollow reverb I hated. My typing feels much more solid now.

I was skeptical about foam kits making a real difference, but the force-break mod tape included here genuinely eliminated the metallic ping from my Q1. The spacebar foam also tightened up the bottom-out sound nicely.

Finally got around to installing the force break mod that came with this kit, and it completely eliminated that hollow ping I hated. The case foam fit perfectly under the PCB, making the whole board feel much denser and quieter.

Installed this kit last weekend and the difference in sound is honestly night and day; the silicone base pad really kills that hollow ping. Even typing feels noticeably more solid now.
