Finally got these in for a keyboard build I've been planning, and the Silent Reds are impressively quiet even on a metal plate. The 110-count set ensures I don't worry about extras for a full board plus some spares.
After trying both the red and brown options, the tactile bump on the browns is just right for typing—not too sharp, not too mushy. The 45-switch pack was enough to cover my tenkeyless board with some spares.
The 110-count set gives me plenty of spares for a full board plus extras for future builds. The Brown switches have a satisfying tactile bump without being too loud, and the smoothness straight out of the box surprised me. Just what I needed for a quiet but responsive typing experience.
Bought the 110-pack of Browns and the tactile bump is just the right amount—not too stiff for long typing sessions. They’re noticeably quieter than my old switches, which is a huge plus for late-night gaming.
These feel a lot more solid and consistent than the previous batch I tried; the 110-count is perfect for a full build with spares. I installed the Browns and the tactile bump is noticeably cleaner right out of the box.
After lubing these switches, the smoothness is night and day compared to stock — the factory prelube is decent, but a bit more makes them buttery. Really happy with the consistent actuation across all 110 switches, no scratchy outliers in the batch.
The Brown switches have just the right tactile bump for typing—not too heavy, not too light. I swapped my whole keyboard and the difference in feel is immediate and satisfying.
The Silent Reds are exactly what I needed for late-night typing — the dampened bottom-out is barely audible. Lubed them lightly and now the smoothness rivals much pricier switches. 110 switches is plenty for a full-size board with spares.
Installed these browns in my work board and immediately noticed how quiet the travel is compared to older switches I've used. The tactile bump is distinct but not fatiguing during long typing sessions. This 110-count set gave me plenty for a full-size plus a numpad.
The lubrication on these MX2A Reds is noticeably smoother than my old switches—no scratchiness at all during long typing sessions. I grabbed the 110-pack for my full-size build and even had a few spares left over, which was perfect. The slightly dampened bottom-out sound makes them feel more premium than I expected for the price.
