I was skeptical about foam kits, but this one made my keyboard feel more solid with less hollow echo. The pre-cut layers fit perfectly and took only five minutes to install.

Put this in my Q14 and the typing sound went from hollow to a nice deep thock. The silicone plate dampens the metallic ring completely.
