I’ve been using these caps for about a week on my Q1 and the deep red legends against the dark gray really pop. The dye-sub PBT texture feels slightly grainier than my old ABS set, but it’s a welcome difference for grip. Took a few minutes to swap everything, but now the whole board has that clean Dolch look I was after.
The PBT thickness feels substantial compared to cheaper ABS sets, and the textured surface gives a satisfyingly muted clack while typing. Took about two weeks to arrive, but the fit on my Q1 is perfect without any wobble.
The red lettering on the dark gray keys is way more vivid in person than on the screen, really makes the set pop on my Q1. Installation was a breeze and everything lined up perfectly with the ANSI layout.
The texture on these Dolch keycaps is a perfect medium between smooth and grippy, and the red legends are crisp without any blurring. Snapped right onto my Q1 without any warping, and the sound is noticeably deeper than the stock ABS.
