I was surprised how much the XPE foam tightened up the bottom-out sound on my Q8 Pro—the stock board always felt a bit hollow to me. The Poron layer added just enough dampening without making the keystrokes feel mushy. Pretty big change for such a simple kit.

The Poron foam fit perfectly inside my Q8, and the XPE layers completely eliminated that hollow echo I hated. Now every keystroke has a satisfying thock without being too loud.
